Our 2025 Update and Farm Stand Opening!

We are excited to announce that The Farm Stand opened on Saturday, July 26. It has been a long time coming. We built the stand a couple of years ago to serve as both a pump house for our well and a farm stand. Our goal was to open it then, but we definitely underestimated how busy we'd be once we had our second kid. Since the kids have become a bit more independent, either we have some more time on our hands, or we are just finally figuring out how to juggle everything.

We are so grateful for the folks who came out on opening day to support us. Our neighbors really showed up! We even had some customers from surrounding towns. Amelia even made enough money from her lemonade stand to get the new backpack she's been saving for!

Our goal with our little stand is to start small. We will offer grass-fed beef and seasonal produce from our own farm. We have dreams of expanding into a proper store or co-op where other producers can sell their goods as well. Joe has dreams of a micro-dairy (but one step at a time!).

Our planned hours are Saturday (9am-3pm) and Wednesday (10am-4pm). Some days we will staff the stand and will offer all of our beef. Other days we will be self-service (porch only) and will only offer produce and a limited amount of ground beef. When we are self service, we will accept cash or Venmo for payment. When staffed, we will accept cash, card, and Venmo.

You can find us at 18 Old Barrows Road in Union, CT. Old Barrows has a dead end. We are at the end of the street on the left. There are two parking spaces next to the stand. Please do not come all the way up our driveway. We have rather crazy dogs who tend to jump up and scratch peoples' vehicles (don't worry - they won't be down at the stand).
